PCR testing for COVID-19 in Zagreb

The Department of Microbiology performs testing of SARS-CoV-2 from a sample of nasopharynx RT - PCR by molecular diagnostic method.

Sampling and testing is carried out EXCLUSIVELY by prior order and agreement on the phone 099 46 83 338 from 10.00 - 14.00 or electronically at covid@hzjz.hr

To receive an appointment, it is necessary to submit the following information by e-mail: name and surname, date of birth, MBO, contact e-mail and telephone number.

Sampling is carried out according to the DRIVE-IN principle in front of the prefabricated building in the yard of the Croatian Institute of Public Health, Rockefellerova 2 every working day from 7.30 - 9.30 and on Saturdays from 8.00 - 10.00. The facility is located at the first driveway to the right after entering Rockefeller Street (see image below). Testing is performed on the basis of a referral from a family doctor, epidemiologist or a referral from a specialist and is then not paid for. The date of testing depends on the date for which the finding is required.

If you do not have a referral, testing is possible on personal request for a fee. In case of a personal request, we recommend advance payment by Internet banking or payment slip.

The price of the testing service is HRK 406,96 and is paid in advance.
