PCR testing at COVID-19 in Varaždin

The Institute of Public Health of Varaždin County conducts the testing service on COVID-19 (SARS-COV2 RT-PCR - 3 target sequences) at the own request and order of the service user. Testing is organized in the Epidemiological Activity, and is performed in the Activity for Medical Microbiology according to the principle of "Drive in", ie the sample is taken in front of the building of the Public Health Institute of Varaždin County, I. Meštrovića 1/11, without leaving the vehicle. has arrived.

To apply for testing, it is necessary to fill out the attached form with all the required information and send it by e-mail to epidemiologija@zzjzzv.hr or call 042 / 653-130 on working days from 7:00 to 14:00.

The employee who receives the request by phone or e-mail will, in agreement with you, plan the testing and send you a pro forma invoice, which must be paid before the test and an order confirmation with the test date.

After submitting the payment confirmation, the person will come for testing at the exact agreed time in front of the building of the Public Health Institute of Varaždin County, Medical Microbiology Department, where nasopharyngeal and pharyngeal swabs will be taken.

Given the protocol that must be followed by health professionals who take samples, we kindly ask you to respect the arrival at the agreed time.

The price of the test is HRK 400.00.

Findings are sent within 24 hours via the email address you provided in the form.

ASYMPTOMATIC PATIENTS before scheduled hospital admissions
Orders for asymptomatic patients are made EXCLUSIVELY by family physicians on weekdays from 10:30 to 13:30.

It is recommended to order the patient for swab sampling 2 days before the planned admission to the health institution.

From Monday 27.07.2020. sampling is performed in the hospital circle, in the area to the side of the pathology and cytology building at the agreed time. Signposts have been set up.
