The website of a small Istrian town has become one of the most successful promoters of sustainable tourism in Istria and Croatia.

During the 2021 pandemic, over 276,000 visitors explored a website about Bale, a small Istrian town where only 1,000 inhabitants live.

In a place yet to explore, visitors certainly value quality recommendations. To that end, guided by our enthusiasm, experience, and knowledge, we designed and created the www.bale-valle.com online portal that informs guests what to do and see during their holiday in Bale and Istria.

The goal of this independent tourist portal is to promote the town of Bale and the surrounding areas as an ideal starting point for exploring Istria and more. At the same time, we aim to attract new guests, as well as to serve as a guide to current visitors.

The site's content is continually updated, additional options for filtering and displaying content adapted to visitors are being introduced as well as presented via social networks, whilst a new mobile application is in the process of development. All the content is available in Croatian, English, German, Italian and Slovenian.

Most of our visitors come from Croatia, Germany, Slovenia, Austria, and Italy. Our most meaningful goal is to recommend only those things that fit into our vision of sustainable development of Istrian and Croatian tourism.

The pages are adapted for display on mobile phones, tablets and desktops. For example, the page presenting each excursion, place to visit, beach, event or something else described on the portal, can be immediately reached on your mobile phone’s navigation system, weather forecast for that location can be checked out, and a number of important notes depending on the type of content can be found out.
