PCR testing for COVID-19 in Zadar

From May 4, 2020, the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology is conducting testing of seafarers and other persons who need a certificate of testing for SARs-CoV-2 from samples of the nasopharynx and oropharynx.

Testing is performed by molecular diagnostics by RT - PCR method.

Sampling and testing is carried out exclusively by prior order and agreement on the phone number 023 / 643-380. Ordering is possible on weekdays from 11 am to 2 pm.

Sampling is carried out at a designated place in front of a prefabricated building located at the economic approach of the Zadar Public Health Institute, Ljudevita Posavskog 7a at the western entrance to the building of the OB Zadar Polyclinic every working day from 08-12 hours.

The findings are available in Croatian and English the next day at the service counter, or can be delivered by mail or e-mail.

The price of the testing service is:

• PCR test: HRK 800.00
• Rapid antigen test: HRK 200.00

Instructions for payment: Send the purchase order with the necessary information to e-mail: narudzbenice-covid19@zjz-zadar.hr, after which an offer with payment information will be issued.
