Old town - Castle Soardo - Bembo
By walking through Bale's old town centre, observing the stone houses and wandering around the narrow, cobbled streets within the fortified walls, you are certain to run into the Soardo – Bembo Castle. One of the most beautiful, picturesque attractions in the town, which stands out with the beauty of its Gothic-Renaissance façade.
Built in the 16th century between the two towers, which initially belonged to the Soardo family and then in 1618 became the property of the Bembo family, it is considered one of the most important monuments in Croatia, and was completely renovated in 2012. History enthusiasts will be able to visit Bembo Castle and embark on the adventure of the early modern era.
