Cape Kamenjak

Located on the southernmost part of Istria, on the approximately 9-kilometre long peninsula, is Cape Kamenjak. The peninsula's coast is highly indented and known for its numerous coves, bays, capes and beaches.

The entire area is interwoven with a network of unpaved trails and is an ideal destination for adventurers and lovers of remote countryside, pristine nature and wild, intimate places. In 1996 Kamenjak was proclaimed a protected area, and the area is celebrated for the catch of the best crabs.
