Top quality wines are served inside the authentic interior of the Medea winery in Vodnjan, which reflects the passion for this kind of “art” expression. In addition to other varieties, the vineyards, extending over 60 hectares of Istrian soil, all particularly suitable for growing grapevines, are the main habitats of the indigenous variety Istrian Malvazija, while the southernmost vineyard in Istria, Punta Grkola, gives a special wine - Merlot-Punta Greca.

As well as this, the vineyards, the Istrian climate, the culture and tradition are all a perfect combination for olive growing and our olive groves can be found in Barbariga.

Wine tastings are organised with prior reservation and are imagined through six offers:

1.      TASTING „55“

• a tasting of three different types of wine from the Medea line (Malvazija, Teran and Rose), as well as extra virgin olive oil Vodnjanski Torčol
• the tasting of each type of wine is accompanied by a presentation on the type, characteristics, flavours and aromas
• food served: grissini or crackers
• price per person: 55,00 kn (cca 7,30 Euro)

 2.      TASTING „75“ 

• a tasting of six extra vergin olive oils „Salvela“ 
• food served: cheese, bread 
• price per person: 75,00 kn (cca 10,00 Euro)

 3.      TASTING „90“ 

• a tasting of sparkling wine „Medea“ 
• a tasting of four extra vergin olive oils „Salvela“
• food served: cheese, bread
• ice cream with extra vergin olive oil
• price per person:  90,00 kn (cca 12,00 Euro) 

 4.      TASTING „100“ 

• a tasting of six types of wine from the Medea line (Malvazija, Teran, Rose, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon), as well as extra virgin olive oil Vodnjanski Torčol
• the tasting of each type of wine is accompanied by a presentation on the type, characteristics, flavours and aromas
• food served: cheese, sausages, bread
• price per person: 100,00 kn (cca 13,50 Euro)

 5.      TASTING „130“

• a tasting of four types of wine from the Medea line
• tasting of Premium wines: Merlot – Punta Greca, as well as the top-quality wine Malvazija – Montiron
• the tasting of each type of wine is accompanied by a presentation on the type, characteristics, flavours and aromas
• a tasting of four extra vergin olive oils „Salvela“
• food served: cheese, sausages, bread
• price per person: 130,00 kn (cca 17,00 Eura) remarks: minimum 5 persons

 6.      TASTING „150“  

• a tasting of sparkling wine „Medea“
• a tasting of four types of wine from the Medea line
• a tasting of Premium wines: Merlot – Punta Greca, as well as the top-quality wine Malvazija – Montiron
• food served: cheese, sausages, bread
• ice cream with extra vergin olive oil
