Belay castle and winery have been owned by Russian Belay family for over ten years. Having noticed in a Croatian brochure that the castle is named after them, this family visited it and finally bought it.

It is interesting to know that it is the only castle in Croatia that has almost always been developed in parallel with the winery. The estate also has cellars and vineyards in addition to the castle.

In the past, this place was a military fort and then a rural castle. After being damaged in the fight against the Venetians, this castle was restored by the Barbo family in 1575.

Vina Belaj has won gold and silver medals in recent years. Most of you have heard about and tasted these wines.

Visit this beautiful place and taste the best wines of Belaj on weekends from 12 to 8pm or by appointment.
