The Chiavalon oil mill is one of the most famous and most awarded olive oil mills in Istria and beyond.

Tedi Chiavalon, the owner of this oil mill, has always been interested in olives and oil production. Ever since he was a little boy, Tedi visited olive groves with his grandfather. It was then when he knew that this love would last forever.

After his grandfather's illness, Teddy takes all the responsibility, decides to open an olive oil mill, and builds large olive groves. Until today, this family grew over 7500 olive trees.

The Chiavalon oil mill has been operating since 1997, and so far they have received a number of domestic and international awards for their extra-virgin olive oils.
