Boulevard World Genius

The picturesque road leading you from the centre of Bale to the sea is a kind of gallery of monumental sculptures dedicated to the world's masterminds. These are the works of students from the Academy of Fine and Applied Arts both from Croatia and abroad, who have been able to transform the famous Kanfanar stone into impressive works of art that are perfectly blended into the Istrian landscape.

Along with the already existing sculptures of Gandhi, Galileo, Columbus, Leonardo and Tesla, the road, which is already known as the Boulevard of World Genius, has been enriched with new sculptures of Nelson Mandela, Charles Darwin, Mary Curie and Albert Einstein.
