How to present memories in a dance form? This work is inspired by the history of San Vincenti; its stories, its customs, its legends. It consists of fragments of narrated memories and experiences of the citizens of San Vincenti and its surroundings. The theme is body: the body in play, the invisible body, the body from the past, the body of magic, the body of a community. How is the past present in the present? The games, customs, practices and beliefs testify to a cultural coding of the community and coexist as a part of today's identity. By giving life to a location as a place of collective memory, the past and the present merge, articulating the unconscious, the transformative and that which is beyond words.
