Gin beats the clock in the famous jazz tavern Kamene priče (Stone Stories) in Bale
Tomislav Pavleka, the owner of the jazz tavern Kamene priče, and Srećko Gross, an expert in pharmaceutical production, reflected on the topic of the Second Art Symposium in Bale and came up with a new version of gin.
The Second Art Symposium in Bale is already in full swing. This year's symposium focuses on how to buy time with space. Tomislav Pavleka, the owner of Kamena priče jazz tavern, and Srećko Gross, an expert in pharmaceutical production, reflected on the topic and came up with a new version of gin. However, this is by no means a typical gin.
Srećko Gross has been working with ultrasound technology for over 20 years, which helped the duo produce the same type of gin that stood in barrels for 25 years. In addition to a good understanding of chemistry, it was equally important to know how to extract the herbal essences that give this beverage such an exceptional taste.
The main advantage of ultrasonic technology is that it allows a large amount of energy to be inputted into a system without generating considerable heat. For example, if the process occurs at room temperature, it will only reach about 40 degrees.
This method of making gin saves a lot of time since it only takes a few minutes to complete what normally takes years.
Istria has only one place where you can sample this most expensive gin. You guessed it, it's the famous jazz tavern Stone Stories (Kamene priče) in Bale.
The KP Gin is produced by a double distillation process with the extraction of autochthonous medicinal plants from organic farms and/or unpolluted nature. Natural aromas obtained in this manner are equivalent to ten years of barricading.
Ingredients: grain distillate, pine, olive leaf, spices
